Co-Principal Investigator
Sean Grant, MSc, DPhil
Sean is a Behavioral and Social Scientist at the RAND Corporation and Professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. He works to advance the transparency, openness, and rigor of intervention research for evidence-based policy and practice. He principally researches interventions for behavioral health, though he is interested in intervention research methodology across the behavioral, social, and health sciences.
Co-Principal Investigator
Evan Mayo-Wilson, MPA, DPhil
Evan’s work focuses on methods for conducting, reporting, and synthesizing intervention research. He is particularly interested in ways to increase transparency and reproducibility, such as trial registration and data sharing. Evan is a core faculty member in the Center for Clinical Trials and Evidence Synthesis, the Center for Drug Safety and Effectiveness, and the Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Melissa Davoust, MSc
Melissa coordinates activities for the TRUST Initiative, including liaising with stakeholders, piloting tools for assessing transparency, and providing data management. She is interested in methods of evidence-based practice and their application to public health and social service improvement. Melissa is a Research Program Manager in the Department of International Health, Social and Behavioral Interventions Program and Department of Epidemiology, Center for Clinical Trials and Evidence Synthesis at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
David Mellor, PhD
David is a researcher and proponent of transparent research practices at the Center for Open Science. His role at the Center for Open Science focuses on rewarding transparent research practices. His background is in behavioral ecology, with experience in citizen science and undergraduate advising.
Lauren Supplee, PhD
Lauren is deputy chief operating officer for Child Trends and a senior program area director for early childhood research. Lauren has devoted her career to working on research and evaluation with the goal of applying the knowledge to policy and practice. Prior to joining Child Trends, Lauren worked for the federal Administration for Children and Families in the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation for ten years, with the last four of those as the director of the Division of Family Strengthening.
